Draft status and existing terms
This document is a working draft for attorney and business review. It is not yet effective, does not create a binding agreement, and does not activate ordering, payments, delivery, age-verification, or any other commerce capability.
The existing Puffify Merchant Terms of Service and Privacy Policy remain operative. This draft does not amend, replace, or supersede either document. If approved later, final language, precedence, consent, versioning, and effective-date requirements must be confirmed before use.
Nothing in this draft announces or implies approval, sponsorship, endorsement, or operational readiness by Stripe, BlueCheck, Uber, or any other payment, identity, delivery, or technology provider. No new fee, commission, subscription, penalty, or charge is created by this draft.
1. Current merchant onboarding fee
The operative Merchant Terms of Service control the current one-time $297 onboarding fee. Puffify refunds that fee if Puffify rejects the merchant application; otherwise it becomes nonrefundable once setup work begins, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
This draft does not change the fee, create another fee, or alter when setup begins. Questions about a specific onboarding payment may be sent to info@puffify.ai without including full card or bank details.
2. Proposed future Puffify-facilitated orders
The remainder of this document describes a proposed framework only. Customer ordering is subject to separate legal, provider, product, merchant, and jurisdiction review before launch.
A customer's request to cancel is not the same as an accepted cancellation. The merchant or platform would need to confirm whether fulfillment has begun, whether goods can lawfully be returned, and what the approved order terms require.
Consistent with the draft Customer Terms, customer cancellations and refunds are subject to merchant review and discretion, with Puffify support coordination. Cancellation, hold release, or an appropriate refund is generally allowed for a verified failed delivery, non-delivery, merchant cancellation, or an approved customer cancellation of an order that has not been fulfilled and can reasonably be stopped. Merchant discretion never overrides a refund or other right required by law.
3. Unavailable, unfulfilled, wrong, damaged, or missing goods
If a future order cannot be fulfilled, is not fulfilled, or contains materially wrong, damaged, or missing goods, the customer should use the approved support channel promptly and provide safe, relevant evidence. Puffify and the merchant would review the facts, provider records, product restrictions, and applicable law before deciding the remedy.
A proposed remedy may include correction, replacement where lawful and practical, cancellation, release of an authorization, partial refund, or full refund. No particular remedy is promised by this draft.
4. Return restrictions and statutory rights
Health, safety, tamper, age-restricted product, or other rules may limit whether a product can be physically returned or restocked. Those restrictions do not eliminate rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights concerning goods that were not supplied, were materially wrong, or were defective.
5. Refund method, holds, and timing
Where supported, an approved refund would ordinarily be returned to the original payment method. A temporary authorization hold that is released is not the same as a refund of a settled charge.
Processing time depends on the merchant, payment provider, financial institution, investigation, and applicable law. Puffify should not promise a fixed completion period until providers and support operations confirm a lawful, supportable timeline.
6. Failed or unavailable age verification
If age or identity cannot be verified for a future restricted-product order, the handoff must be refused. Refusal does not automatically mean the customer forfeits all funds. The order must be reviewed under the approved refund and cancellation terms, including whether an authorization was captured and whether any lawful, disclosed charge applies.
This draft creates no failed-ID, attempted-delivery, cancellation, restocking, return, or handling fee. Any such fee would require separate legal and provider approval and clear advance disclosure before the order is placed.
7. Purchases completed with external providers
When Puffify links to a merchant website or third-party ordering or delivery service, that external provider's displayed terms may govern the external purchase. A Puffify listing or link is not an approval of the provider, product, transaction, or delivery.
External terms do not waive duties Puffify or a merchant independently owes under applicable law. Customers should identify where the transaction occurred and contact the responsible provider while also reporting Puffify-specific issues to info@puffify.ai.
8. Safe support evidence
Support may request an order reference, item description, merchant name, date, and non-sensitive photos reasonably needed to understand an issue. Never send a government-ID scan, password, authentication code, or full card number by email.

Reviewer material: describes when sellers must ship on time, seek consent to delays, or promptly refund. Mandatory refund duties like these can override merchant discretion; whether the rule applies to every local pickup or same-day delivery fact pattern requires legal review.
