Puffify Customer Terms

Draft terms for customer accounts, discovery and, where separately enabled, ordering, pickup and delivery — including merchant-reviewed cancellations and refunds.

For customers and reviewers. Separate from the operative Merchant Terms of Service.

Demo notice: the Puffify demo places no real orders, takes no real payments and performs no real deliveries. Any simulated acceptance, checkout or confirmation inside the demo is not legal consent to these or any other terms.

Draft status

This is a working draft prepared for review. It is not yet effective, is not binding, and does not enable ordering, payments, delivery, age verification or any other service. Puffify does not ask you to accept it.

The operative Merchant Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are not replaced or amended by this draft. Nothing here implies approval or endorsement by any payment, identity or delivery provider, including Uber or DoorDash.

1. Scope and marketplace roles

These Customer Terms describe use of Puffify's customer accounts, product discovery and, where separately enabled, ordering, pickup and delivery features. Participating merchants independently offer and fulfill products; Puffify provides the platform and customer-support coordination. The merchant for an order is identified before you submit it.

A listing does not establish availability, legal eligibility or delivery approval. Services vary by merchant, product and destination. These terms are separate from merchant business terms.

2. Accounts and accurate information

Provide accurate account, contact, delivery and verification information; protect your login and promptly report unauthorized use. Your account is personal: do not impersonate others, create duplicate identities to evade controls, or let an ineligible recipient use it. You must have legal capacity to use the service.

Restricted items require that you are 21 or older and meet all other applicable eligibility requirements; a self-declaration is not verified age. Changing your email or phone does not reset identity or eligibility restrictions.

3. Order submission and merchant acceptance

Review the merchant, products, quantities, destination, fulfillment method and full price before submitting. Submitting is a request pending merchant acceptance and eligibility checks, not a promise of fulfillment.

A merchant may accept, decline or propose changes because of stock, pricing, safety or eligibility. Material substitutions and price increases need your approval before fulfillment, and no increase may be charged without your authorization. Removing items updates the total and applicable taxes and fees. Changes you do not approve may lead to cancellation. Puffify may stop unlawful, unsafe or fraudulent orders.

4. Prices, fees and payments

Checkout itemizes products, estimated tax, delivery, the Puffify platform fee (currently proposed at $1.50 per order where disclosed), any other applicable disclosed charges and an optional tip. Estimates and changes must be shown before authorization; there is no hidden surcharge.

An authorization hold reserves available funds; it is not a completed charge or a merchant payout. The demo models a hold at submission and capture after confirmed delivery or pickup. Final live timing will be governed by the payment flow disclosed at checkout and confirmed processor terms; this draft does not promise any live processor capability.

If an uncharged order is canceled, release of the hold is requested; captured amounts require a refund. Bank release and posting times vary. No real payment is taken in the demo.

5. Pickup and delivery

Provide a correct serviceable address, a reachable phone number and lawful access instructions, and be available for handoff. You can switch from delivery to pickup where pickup is offered. Estimates are not guarantees. Product, merchant, jurisdiction and courier restrictions apply independently.

Once a courier is assigned, cancellation may require support coordination; requesting cancellation does not by itself stop a courier. Do not put sensitive ID information in delivery notes.

6. Restricted items and age verification

Where enabled and required, complete age and identity verification through Persona, which presents its own privacy and biometric notices and consent. Persona collects ID and selfie information directly; Puffify stores the verification status, age-threshold result and references it needs, not raw ID or selfie images or your birthdate, in its customer verification record. The Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

Online approval does not replace the check at handoff and does not guarantee product, payment or delivery eligibility. Meet the driver or pickup staff with acceptable, valid government photo ID; the receiver must be the eligible verified customer and meet the age requirement. There is no leave-at-door, unattended, minor or proxy handoff. Required signature or other lawful handoff checks must be completed. If ID cannot be verified, or the recipient is underage, does not match, or handoff is legally prohibited, restricted goods will not be released.

7. Cancellation requests

Request cancellation promptly through the order's cancellation or support option, or by email to info@puffify.ai with your order reference. A request is not confirmed until acknowledged.

Customer cancellations are subject to merchant review and discretion, considering preparation, fulfillment and courier progress, the goods and applicable law. Cancellations are generally approved when the order has not been fulfilled and can reasonably be stopped. An approved cancellation normally results in a hold release or a refund as appropriate, subject only to lawful charges clearly disclosed before you ordered.

If a merchant cancels or cannot fulfill, the unfulfilled portion is ordinarily canceled and its hold released or charge refunded. Discretion never overrides refunds or other rights required by law.

8. Failed delivery and refunds

Refunds are reviewed by the merchant with Puffify support coordination. A verified failed delivery, non-delivery, merchant cancellation or approved customer cancellation will generally qualify for cancellation, hold release or an appropriate refund.

Review distinguishes merchant or courier failure from an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, inaccessible location, refused delivery or failed age/ID check; these situations do not automatically mean a full refund, nor automatic forfeiture. When an order goes unfulfilled because of merchant or courier failure, the normal outcome is release of the hold or a refund of amounts paid for goods and services not provided, including associated taxes and applicable unearned fees and tips.

Any retained charge must be lawful, actually applicable, clearly disclosed before you submitted the order, and explained in an itemized way. This draft creates no failed-ID, attempted-delivery, cancellation, return or restocking fee, and a charge that was not disclosed or permitted cannot be added after a failure. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected; merchant discretion is not a reason to withhold a legally required refund.

9. Missing, wrong or damaged items and returns

Report problems promptly with your order reference and reasonable, non-sensitive evidence so the merchant and support can investigate. Remedies may include a lawful replacement, correction, partial or full refund, or hold adjustment. No blanket reporting deadline waives your statutory rights.

Restricted, opened, perishable or tampered goods may have limits on physical return; those limits do not remove remedies required for goods not supplied or defective. Follow approved return instructions and do not send restricted goods back by an unapproved method.

Refunds normally go back to the original payment method unless law requires otherwise or you expressly agree to a permitted alternative. Store credit is never mandatory in place of a monetary refund you are owed. Timing depends on the payment provider and your bank; no fixed timeline is promised.

10. Support and disagreements

Contact info@puffify.ai or the order-support option with your order reference, the merchant, the issue and the resolution you are asking for. Puffify can coordinate merchant review and tell you the decision, and you may ask for reconsideration.

Do not email passwords, card numbers, ID photos or selfies. Nothing here prevents lawful complaints or payment disputes, or waives consumer rights that cannot be waived.

11. Privacy, communications and acceptable use

The Privacy Policy applies to personal data. Order and account service messages are separate from optional marketing choices; marketing consent is not bundled into these terms or required to buy.

Do not misuse the platform, submit false claims, or evade age, payment, fraud or delivery controls. Restrictions applied for security or compliance do not remove valid claims about existing orders.

12. Changes, other policies and external services

The final effective terms and version must be shown whenever acceptance is requested, with appropriate notice of material future changes; changes do not retroactively remove rights for an existing order. The refund and cancellation, age-verification, delivery and failed-ID, and restricted-product policies should be available alongside these terms; drafts remain non-binding.

Purchases completed through an external merchant checkout use that provider's terms and support process, without waiving duties Puffify or the merchant independently owe. No contractual provider approval is asserted.
